CONNECTING THE DOTS’ FIFTH EVENT!
The CORe Collaboration Table, originally started by Richmond’s Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), is excited to present its 5th Connecting the Dots event. This year’s theme is Accessing Affordable Richmond Resources.
“Connecting the Dots is a great opportunity for the public to learn about the many social services in Richmond. We have an exciting lineup of speakers and events, all of which are free to attend,” says Lonnie Belfer, chair of the CORe Collaboration Table.
Connecting the Dots: Accessing Affordable Richmond Resources will be held on Saturday, June 16th 2018 from 11am to 3pm at the Brighouse Branch of the Richmond Public Library and Minoru Cultural Centre. There will be workshops on a variety of topics including financial services, literacy, and employment support; free activities including yoga, face painting, and gardening seminars; and information tables hosted by Richmond’s social services. It is free to attend.
Continues Mr. Belfer: “We are very excited for the biggest Connecting the Dots event yet. We hope that people in need of Richmond’s many resources will join us!”
Connecting the Dots is an annual event put on by the CORe Collaboration Table, a multi-agency effort to improve social services in Richmond.
